WINDOWS XP/VISTA/WINDOWS 7
When you change your E-account password, any application or device that is configured to automatically connect to ITS resources with the old password will cause your account to become locked out. The most common services that cause this issue are MavDISK, MavPRINT, MavNET, and saved browser logins for MavMAIL or Desire2Learn. This document provides instructions for removing these connections in Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
First
- Click on the Start button; in Windows 7 or Vista, type run in the Start Search and then hit enter. In XP, simply select run from the menu.
- The Run command prompt will appear in the bottom left-hand side of the screen. In the prompt, type control userpasswords2. Press enter or click OK.
- The User Accounts window will appear. Select the Advanced tab.
- Under the Passwords section, select Manage Passwords.
- Select all of the connections to MavPRINT, MavDISK, or MavNET listed and click Remove.
MavDISK
To remove a mapped MavDisk drive:
- On Windows 7 or Vista, open Computer. For Windows XP, open My Computer.
- Right-click on the drive mapped to MavDisk, which may be labeled "username$(\\Mavdisk)."
- Select Disconnect from the popup menu.
Please see http://www.mnsu.edu/its-20131018/started/mavdisk/ for instructions on reconnecting.

- For each MavPRINT print queue listed (i.e., MavPRINTBW, MavPRINTColor, MavPRINTCobBW on mavprint), right-click on the icon and select Delete from the pop-up menu.
