Chat Home

Chat is the interactive tool for discussion while you are online in the real time. It is a very useful tool for creating instant messaging.

Creating Chat

1. Click on
2. Select what type of chat you would like
   • General Chat - all participants of the specific course can have access to.
   • Personal Chat - you control who can and cannot participate no matter what course they are in.
3. Click Next.
   • For a General Chat you only have to type a Title and Description then click Create.
   • For a Personal Chat you have to type a Title and Description. Also select whether or not you would like the chat to be persistent.
     1. Click Next
     2. To add participants click the "Add" link.
     3. In the pop-up window, type in the username of the participant you would like to add or select the class the participant is in and place a check by their name.
     4. Click

Editing Chat

From the main chat window (Figure 1), Click on the Edit Symbol

Delete Chat

From the main chat window (Figure 1), Click on the Delete Symbol

Click to see any available archived chat sessions.
